Tens of thousands of protesters have been launched by all of Kosovo. Mass participation of the citizens are confirmed constantly from contacts with the activists who are organising the implies with buses.
The fear of government intervention, has made the powers to stop the buses and not to allow the arrival of the protesters.
So far:
– they are stopped the buses that were coming from kamenica and almost half of the protesters are forced to get out and don’t travel by buses.
– they are stopping the buses that were coming from mitrovica and police have checked by the details each protesters.
– they are stopping the buses that were coming from gjilan and police have checked by the details each protesters.
– they are stopping the buses that were coming from gjakova and police have checked by the details seilin protesters.
– in shtime, police have been putting pressure on the bus drivers trying to get rid of the buses before the protesters.
Police are provoking the situation. Freedom of protest, guaranteed with all the international conventions for human rights, are affected. As well as the media freedom and free speech are affected.
Popular Masiviteti Zajednicës “against” demarcation and cannot be stopped with police methods. The protest will be great and the government will back down!
