Kosovo’s Ministry of Labor is serious.
They have penalized 92 employers recently for failure to have employment contracts with their employees.
Carrying out 1,548 inspections, and examining documentation for over 11,000 workers, the Ministry found almost 250 employees were engaged without employment contracts.

Who May Be Hired in Kosovo
The Labor Law in Kosovo permits employment of any person 18 years or older.
Younger persons, between 15 and 18 years of age, may also be hired “for easy labour that do not represent a risk to their health or development and if such a labour is not prohibited by any Law or sub-legal act.”
