Serb Planned to Blow up Grand Hotel in Prishtina

Slobodan Gavric a 46 year old Serb was arrested on thursday night in Pristina, after his car was found to have 12 kilograms of explosive materials.


Indeksonline Sources close to the case said the Serb had planned to place explosives at the Grand Hotel, where he had rented a room on the 24th December.

“Once he had checked in to the hotel, Slobodan Gavric had gone to Serbia, where he loaded his car with explosives and re-entered through Northern Kosovo” Indeksonline were told by police officers that are dealing with this case.

The Serbian suspect had a map with the escape route, to be used after committing the attack on Christmas Day.

Kosovo police had followed the suspect from Mitrovica to Pristina, where they successfully intervened and arrested him.
