A pregnant woman is the third victim infected with the H1N1 virus, confirmed to RFE, the Director of Clinical Infectious Shemseddin Dreshaj.
“Yes, we have the third victim was a woman who had lung embolism, but also affected by the flu. Has been pregnant,” announced Dreshaj.
The third victim reportedly died on Thursday evening. It was in the seventh month of pregnancy. 40 people have been infected with the H1N1 virus, the beginning of this year.
So far three people have suffered from this infection, which attacks the lower respiratory tract, which was previously known as “swine flu”.
