Privatization of Government Corruption Affair

20 SEPTEMBER 2012 – Thursday 02:29

Last days Kosovar public learned of the allegations and recent evidence regarding the privatization of the Grand Hotel. This time, involved in the charges were high levels of the government of the Republic of Kosovo. But the defendants in evidence were also high-level political representatives of the government of the Republic of Kosovo.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Behgjet Pacolli, in his testimony given to the prosecutor talked about how last year, Deputy Finance Astrit Haraqia visited Pacollin in his house as he had done many times before, but this time had requested, on behalf of others 3.6 million by Pacolli to do the “work” of Grant.

Grant affair perflitet too long in the corrupt privatization of SOEs this time included the names of all the government, just a few months after the death of the President of the Board of the Privatisation Agency of Kosovo, Dino Hasanaj in circumstances quite suspicious.

According to this statement falls to the Deputy Prime Minister Pacolli denied deputy, but had not reported at all z. Haraqija to justice. Rather had left this man, in his corrupt, to perform his duties as Deputy Minister of Finance, leaving Kosovo budget management responsibility. This apparently is common for the government of the Republic of Kosovo. Things not only reported, but also evaluated.

Grant affair is just one of affairs that the government reveal the names in the abuses of the state budget, and other public assets and social life of Kosovo. On the other side of Kosovo’s citizens are asked to be patient and calm when everything in front of them being stolen, pray, abused and sold.
VETËVENDOSJE reiterates its request for removal of this government for reasons which we have mentioned many times. Recent discoveries have only one seal thick dossier of crime that this government is doing to the people of the Republic of Kosovo. Discoveries will not stop crime, but must stop as soon as the damage and ongoing crime that this government is doing.
